AfterSchool Activities
Two Community Based Organizations, BEACON and OPUS, host a variety of afterschool programs Monday through Friday, including:
JHS 226 offers a variety of after-school programs and clubs that provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, and connect with peers beyond the school day. Through our partnership with the BEACON Community-Based Organization, students have access to additional enrichment, recreational, and social-emotional programming. Academic opportunities include Algebra and Biology Regents Preparation Courses, as well as Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT) preparation, providing students with targeted support for future academic success
